A Different Banner
A different banner for your input. I didn't get much positive feedback on the page banner.
It's still too white on the sides. The banner is ok, I like that it adds in a punch of gold. Add that punch in somewhere else on the page too! I still think you need to either make the sides Navy, or black so I'm not blinded while trying to type a comment... I have to watch my fingers and hope everything is coming out ok on the screen.
I kinda liked the purple. You have to be pretty darn secure in your masculinity to use colors like that on purpose. :) I do like the new banner, though. Adds a wide-open-spaces, Moses-Lake sort of accent to the scheme.
Not sure what Deea's talking about. I've got navy on the sidebars. Anyway, I'd put this banner inbetween the two. I still like the lightening best, but this one is nice, too. What's cool (in a time intensive sort of way) is the idea of changing the banner every day or two.

I guess I'm too darn easy to please. I think it looks great. But,I must say that I like this one for the reason it has several different colors.
