A burning Bush brands the Texas Longhorns!

A_young_195 I admit it!  I was wrong a number of weeks ago when I predicted that the Indianapolis Colts would go undefeated and beat the Seattle Seahawks on their way to an undefeated season and a Super Bowl win.  Now, I am totally on-board with the Seahawks!

Well, since I have already failed at one prediction, why not make another?  Tomorrow, the USC Trojans, led by a Burning Bush named Reggie will squeak by the Texas Longhorns in the most anticipated College Bowl Game in history!  Enough of the hype already, let's play the game!  Reggie Bush of USC and Vince Young of Texas are two of the most exciting players to ever lace up shoes at the college level, so expect fireworks.  USC 38 - TEXAS 35!

  1. Oh, and by the way, USC is one of the best teams in College Football history, of that there is no doubt. I'm thinking that the Texas Defence will hold Reggie to less than 150 yards, and will hold off the USC onslaught, to win by 3.
You know I just had to be different :)

  3. Dearest Pastor,
I write in earnst to beg of you, Please continue voicing your predictions in the favor of teams whom we wish to LOSE. Indeed, they seem alomst polarized to your predictions of winning. Their anihilation is most agreeable, yes, most agreeable, indeed! Merci Beaucoup, my dear boy.

  4. Well, you got the USC score right... which is actually pretty good, considering all the possible scores there could have been. I'm with Deea. Could you please root for the Colts again? I love you, and look forward to your return.

As die-hard Aggie Fans, rooting for TU (UT for you unititiated) was very challenging for our family! In fact, Jared and Travis could not overcome their genetic pre-disposition to hate anything burnt orange, in order to root for the success of a home state team up against rival USC. They watched the game to it's exciting conclusion while I gave in to the sand man long before Young's final winning TD. I'm glad Texas won, but I look forward to the near future, when it is comfortable (and safe!) to cordially despise TU again. Hook'em Horns! Gig 'em Aggies!

  8. Ok - so maybe you're a little gunshy after gettin spanked on your last few picks. But you could post something. Like "Hey all, I'm home" or "It's great to be back" or "whoops, forgot to pay the water bill while we were gone and the toilets are full up." Something... Don't be embarassed. Speak up!
